Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

Harsukhpaul "MJMAFIA" Sangha called all in for his final crumbs after Parker Talbot had open-shoved in late position.

Harsukhpaul "MJMAFIA" Sangha: {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Parker Talbot: {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

It was smooth sailing for Sangha until the river on a {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, where the three-outer popped up to eliminate the Canadian. After all bustouts were processed, Sangha, finished in 314th place and received $905.

The bubble was split between Leonard "LottoLarry" Maue, Matthias Eibinger, and Nick "rdcrsn" Maimone, but as they all preregistered the tournament, they received GGPoker's bubble protection and got their money back.

"Icho" Crushing; Kuo Doubles

Kuo is still short
Kuo is still short

Austrian streamer Hristo "icho" Anastassov is among the top stacks in the room with a ton of bounties already collected. He just tried to eliminate Kitty Kuo, who was all in for her final 6,638 from early position. Anastassov raised to 11,276 and the others folded.

Kitty Kuo: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Hristo "icho" Anastassov: {j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

No help for Anastassov's optional hand on a {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Spades} board and Kuo got some air.

"Messi" Finds Success at the Tables

"Messi" still knows how to score
"Messi" still knows how to score

It's not been the best of weeks for FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi, to say the least. At least one fan of the Argentinian striker has some of his sorrows soothed, as "Messi" has already racked up five bounties to soar to 145k.

"Messi" delivered a clinical finish in a recent hand against Brian Rast and Robin "Kabuzzi" Berggren to gain the majority of it. Berggren was all in for just 1,094 preflop and Brian Rast and "MESSI" saw a flop together.

On a {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} board, "Messi" check-shoved all in and Rast called off for about 60,000 total.

Brian Rast: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
"Messi": {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

"Messi" finished it in style with a {4-Spades} on the turn for quads, making the {6-Spades} a mere formality.

It's Time for Event #64: $840 Turbo Bounty No Limit Hold'em

Shoma Ishikawa won the first Super Turbo Bounty
Shoma Ishikawa won the first Super Turbo Bounty

To top off the action-packed Sunday night on GGPoker, Event #64: $840 Super Turbo Bounty No Limit Hold'em will deliver one of the fastest roads to a bracelet. Similar to the $525 Super Turbo Bounty that kicked off the series back on Sunday, July 19, players can expect fast and furious action right off the bat.

The first Super Turbo Bounty was won by Shoma "pp_syon" Ishikawa, who did so in a record-breaking three hours and fifteen minutes to defeat a 2,214-player field on the opening night. This event won't be as fast — featuring 8-minute levels instead of 4 — but the event will still be held at a breakneck pace.

Players will start off with 25,000 in chips (125bb) and late registration will be open for 90 minutes. Levels are 8 minutes each and unlimited reentries are allowed if players run out of chips, with progressive bounties worth $200 each to start off with. Plenty of notables such as Pete Chen, Felipe Ramos, Danny Tang, Betrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Kitty Kuo have already signed up to shoot for WSOP gold.

Make sure to stay glued to PokerNews as we'll crown three bracelet winners tonight!
