Levinskas Does it Again

Level 27 : 14,000/28,000, 0 ante

Laurynas Levinskas has managed several doubles as a short stack, a number coming when his equity wasn't great. He pulled off another when he three-bet for 233,600 preflop from the small blind after a button open by Alexander "xBGx" Fitasov, who peeled. The flop came {5-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and Levinskas jammed for 399K.

Fitasov snapped it with {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for two pair, and Levinskas needed help with {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} after having the nuts preflop. Help arrived right away in the form of the {9-Hearts} and Levinskas doubled up.

Szecsi Won't Grab Another Bracelet

Norbert Szecsi
Norbert Szecsi

Alexander "xBGx" Fitasov opened for 75,600 in the small blind and Norbert "ElCabanero" Szecsi called in the big. Both players checked the flop for a board {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Fitasov check-called 75,600. On the {8-Diamonds} river, Fitasov checked again.

Szecsi shoved for 236K and Fitasov called. Szecsi showed {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} for the bare ace bluff and Fitasov had {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for jacks up.

Ugly One Leaves Timmis Desperate

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Two players had the nut preflop and got it all in for a 2.3M pot:

Craig Timmis: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Antti "Botripper" Nieminen: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

Unfortunately for Timmis, Nieminen turned a wheel.

Ramos Run Down

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

A short-stacked Norbert "ElCabanero" Szecsi got in preflop with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} but was dominated by the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} of Felipe Ramos. Ramos stayed best on the {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop but running {4-Clubs} and {10-Clubs} gave Szecsi a flush.

Bad Beat Busts Foxen

Level 25 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Laurynas Levinskas potted for about half his stack then called off the rest against Alex Foxen's shove.

Foxen: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs}
Levinskas: {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

Foxen flopped top set on {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} but Levinskas turned a flush on the {7-Clubs}. Foxen needed to fill up but the {q-Clubs} river didn't do it.

Left with two big blinds, he busted the next hand.
