"WilliamJLH" Eliminated by "eaglesphan92" on the River

Level 12 : 250/500, 60 ante

Action on the table folded around to "eaglesphan92" who opened for 1,267 on the button and "WilliamJLH" three-bet jammed for 7,065 from the small blinnd, "eaglesphan92" called.

"WilliamJLH": {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
"eaglesphan92": {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

"WilliamJLH" was ahead and didn't mind the {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} flop that gave them the diamond draw.

The {2-Hearts} turn didn't change a thing and "WilliamJLH" was looking good on scoring the double until the {9-Clubs} appeared on the river ending their tournament.

Iowa's Taylor “gambol_time” Howard Looking for First WSOP Cash

Level 11 : 200/400, 50 ante
Taylor “gambol_time” Howard in action.
Taylor “gambol_time” Howard in action.

In order to participate in the WSOP.com online bracelet events, players must be in either Nevada or New Jersey. That means players in other locales would need to travel in order to partake. One such player is Iowa’s Taylor “gambol_time” Howard, who has $139,470 in live tournament earnings.

That includes a career-best $89,939 for winning the 2018 Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) Meskwaki $1,100 Main Event. Howard has also had success playing online, which he hopes to carry over into this series.

Howard, who sent us a photo of him on his computer, is in action today and plans to be for much of the month. Putting in the volume and staying on the grind suggest this Midwesterner will notch his first-ever WSOP-related cash.

"AI_Rising": {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Clay "clayfletch" Fletcher: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Fletcher was ahead with his pocket aces and nothing changed after the {4-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop.

The {8-Clubs} turn gave Fletcher a sweat as it added a gutshot to "AI_Rising's" hand but the board completed with the {2-Diamonds} on the river securing Fletcher's double-up.

Aces No Good for "Quasar"

Level 10 : 160/320, 40 ante

"Quasar" opened for 700 from early positon and "cortewma0608" called from the cutoff. The rest of the players folded and it was heads up to the {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop, which both players checked.

When the {10-Clubs} appeared on the turn, "Quasar" bet 820 and "cortewma0608" called to see the {2-Hearts} river.

"Quasar" upped the bet to 2,880 and "cortewma0608" wasted little time in making the call.

"cortewma0608": {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
"Quasar": {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

"Quasar" had pocket rockets but they were no good as "cortewma0608" had turned two pair to win the pot.
