Verderamo Cracks Six-Figures With a Full House

Level 10 : 300/600, 60 ante

Nicholas "Nickvee07" Verderamo raised to 1,200 from under the gun, and was called by "Liquid_Sword" on the button and "Money_catti" in the big blind.

"Money_catti" checked a {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} flop to Verderamo, who bet 2,444. "Liquid_Sword" jammed for 47,794, and after "Money_catti" folded, Verderamo called.

"Liquid_Sword": {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Nicholas "Nickvee07" Verderamo: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

Verderamo's set was looking to fade a club to earn the double, but the {q-Hearts} turn ended any sweat, as his full house left "Liquid_Sword" drawing dead to the {6-Spades} river. "Liquid_Sword" chose to re-enter, getting a fresh stack of 40,000 to play with in the process.

"mrterry007" Smashes the "PumpkinKing"

Level 10 : 300/600, 60 ante

"PumpkinKing" raised to 1,200 from early position, and "mrterry007" three-bet to 2,400 from the cutoff. "PumpkinKing" four-bet shoved for 13,106, and "mrterry007" called.

"PumpkinKing": {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
"mrterry007": {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"mrterry007" found an open-ended straight draw on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, and although he bricked the {2-Spades} turn, the {k-Clubs} hit the river to give them the nuts and send "PumpkinKing" to the exit.

Blais Turns Up the Heat

Level 9 : 250/500, 50 ante

Joseph "AmazynBlaze" Blais limped in from under the gun, "staxzilla" limped in next to act, Kurt "HeHateMe997" Roccaro came along on the button, and "SourPatchGrl" checked their option in the big blind.

"SourPatchGrl" checked the {8-Spades}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop to Blais, who bet 1,350. "staxzilla" folded, and Roccaro raised to 5,400. "SourPatchGrl" folded and Blais called.

Both players checked the {7-Clubs} turn, and the {3-Diamonds} fell on the river. Blais bet 4,250, and Roccaro called, tabling {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens. Blais had Roccaro outkicked with his {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, however, and Blais added to his already swelling chip stack.

Lim and Bohn Battle

Level 9 : 250/500, 50 ante

Thomas "OtB_RedBaron" Lim raised to 1,000 from middle position, and was called by "Rod12345" in the cutoff and Minnesota Poker Hall of Famer Blake "CheeetahGirl" Bohn on the button.

Lim bet 1,000 on the {6-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop, and only Bohn called.

The {q-Diamonds} hit the turn, and Lim bet 4,100. Bohn called again.

Lim bet 11,800 when the {k-Hearts} hit the river, and Bohn tanked for a short time before folding.

McMillen Stacking Up Again

Level 8 : 200/400, 40 ante
Ron Mcmillen
Ron Mcmillen

Robert "BobTheDonkey" Hoberman raised to 1,000 on the button, and Ron "MacDaddy15" McMillen, winner of yesterday's Event #9: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Max, called in the small blind, as did "flopdnuts" in the big blind.

Action checked to Hoberman on an {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, and he bet 1,200. Both McMillen and "flopdnuts" called.

The {10-Clubs} turn was checked through to the {k-Hearts} river, and McMillen bet 5,220. That did the trick as both "flopdnuts" and Hoberman folded.
