Brindise Busts Shin

Level 15 : 1,250/2,500, 0 ante
Mike Shin
Mike Shin

Mike "Mkspresident" Shin, who finished 12th in the 2016 WSOP Main Event, raised to 8,750 from the cutoff and left himself 7,460 behind. Tammy "rynom" Brindise then three-bet to 15,000 from the button, both blinds folded, and Shin called to see the {k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop.

Shin checked and then called off his last 1,210 when Brindise bet.

Tammy "rynom" Brindise: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Mike "Mkspresident" Shin: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Shin was trailing the aces of Brindise and failed to catch up as the {j-Hearts} appeared on the turn followed by the {2-Hearts} on the river. With that, Shin fell about 10 spots shy of making the money.

WSOP Bracelet Winners Collide

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Michael Lech
Michael Lech

Former WSOP.com bracelet winner Nipun "Javatini" Java limped under the gun and Michael "MiguelFiesta" Lech, who one week ago won Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller Freezeout for his first bracelet, raised to 9,000 next to act, which left him just 75 behind. Action folded back to Java and he raised, which prompted Lech to call off.

Michael "MiguelFiesta" Lech: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Nipun "Javatini" Java: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Lech was looking to crack aces, but that proved easier said than done as the board ran out {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Daniel "Bunzer07" Jordan Scores Double Knockout

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Qinghai "011POKERDR" Pan called off for 1,557 from under the gun and Daniel "Bunzer07" Jordan raised to 8,557 next to act. "siphonn" then reraised to 29,228 from the small blind and called off their remaining 2,268 after Jordan popped it back.

Qinghai "011POKERDR" Pan: {j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Daniel "Bunzer07" Jordan: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
"siphonn": {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop gave Pan a set of sixes, but the running {10-Hearts} turn and {10-Clubs} river delivered Jordan the double knockout with tens full of aces.

Stroke Flushes Pan to Take Chip Lead

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Shawn Stroke
Shawn Stroke

Quinghai "011POKERDR" Pan opened for 4,125 from middle position and "Carlo62788" three-bet to 12,562 from the button.

Shawn "shades927" Stroke called from the small blind, as did Pan, bringing the three players to the {6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop.

Stroke check-jammed for 157,980 after Pan fired out 39,686 and only Pan called.

Shawn "shades927" Stroke: {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Quinghai "011POKERDR" Pan: {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

Both players flopped the straight but Pan still had a sweat as Stroke held the spade draw as well.

The {2-Diamonds} turn was safe for Pan but the {j-Spades} completed Stroke's flush on the river and secured his massive double-up.

Leng Falls to Kwon's Aces

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Ryan "adopt_adogg0" Leng limped in under the gun and Yong Keun "LuckySpewy1" Kwon raised to 5,400 from the cutoff.

Jeremy "TheKid101" Pekarek called form the big blind, as did Leng, brining the three players to the {5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop.

Pekarek checked to Leng who fired out 16,800 and Kwon jammed for 42,846. Pekarek called and Leng called off his 23,475 stack.

Ryan "adopt_adogg0" Leng: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Jeremy "TheKid101" Pekarek: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Yong Keun "LuckySpewy1" Kwon: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

Kwon was ahead with his aces and liked to see that his opponent's held the same hand but the {2-Spades} turn gave him a sweat as it gave both a flush draw.

Luckily for Kwon, the {j-Hearts} appeared on the river giving him the pot while Leng was eliminated from the tournament.
