Wisconsin's Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon Honors Late Friend w/ WSOP Online Grind

Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon

When it comes to old-school online poker legends, Wisconsin's Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon is up there. The longtime player actually owns and operates Player's Bar in Madison, which is where Phil Hellmuth used to play before he became the poker legend that he is.

Kroon has ventured out to Las Vegas to use his online skills to try and capture his first gold bracelet. Kroon is no stranger to the WSOP with 19 cashes totaling $334,163 in winnings. That includes a 43rd-place finish in the 2015 WSOP Main Event for $164,086. He also made fairly deep runs in 2011 and 2013, getting ESPN airtime in both.

Kroon, a good friend of the aforementioned Hellmuth, also won a WSOP Circuit gold rin back in 2012 when he won the WSOPC Palm Beach Kennel Club Event #12: $345 Turbo NLH for $13,847

If you're looking for Kroon at the virtual tables, you won't find him playing under his popular "P0ke H0" monitor. Instead, he's opted to honor his late friend Mike "Wisco" Murray, who passed away last year at the age of 37, by playing under the screenname "wiscomurray."

Murray was an accomplished online player in his own right. According to PocketFives, he won more than $1 million playing online under the screenname “WiscoMurray.” That included a high score of $92,750 for winning the Full Tilt Poker $1K Monday on January 21, 2008.
