Welcome to Day 1 of the 10th event of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online schedule. Cards go in the air at 1 p.m. GMT in Event #10: $400 DOUBLE CHANCE Pot-Limit Omaha.

Lucio "WizardOfAz" Lima, Daniel Smiljkovic, and Eduardo Pires won bracelets this week and they will have another chance in this weekend’s pot-limit Omaha event. Scott "Pokerbrahs!" Kenyon, Fernando "JNandez87" Habegger, and Ke "PKBmufeng" Song have already registered with many more to come throughout the day.

Registration will run until 10:35 GMT, which will be during Level 17. Blind levels will last 15 minutes until the final table. Players will start with two stacks of 20,000 and may elect to bring the second stack into play at any point prior to the end of the 18th level. If it isn’t used it will be automatically added to their stack at that time. Players have the option to reenter up to two times if they lose both of their starting stacks before the end of the registration period.

Day 1 will continue until the final table or the end of Level 32. The second day of the event will resume on Sunday, Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. GMT and the PokerNews reporting team will be on hand throughout both days of the tournament to bring you the action as it happens.

Aboudi Takes Down Big Pot with Straight

Ido "idollar" Aboudi raised to 3,500 from the cutoff and Wiktor Malinowski called from the small blind.

The flop was {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{a-Spades} and Aboudi led out with a bet of 4,760. Malinowski made the check-call and the river came {9-Diamonds}.

Malinowski checked the river and Aboudi bet 12,082. After using some of the time bank, Malinowski re-raised to 55,216. Aboudi went over the top for 179,858 and Malinowski made the call for his last 104,602.

Cuong "CLVT" Trinh opened the action with a raise to 4,800 from under the gun. "Lwllh" made the call from the cutoff and "dragon9487" came along from the button.

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Trinh led with a bet of 14,240. "Lwllh" made the call and "dragon9487" re-raised to 40,000. Trinh folded after using some of the time bank before "Lwllh" raised once more to 124,030. "dragon9487" made the call.

The turn dropped {q-Clubs} and "Lwllh" went all in for their last 122,318. "dragon9437" made the call and showed {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for the flopped straight. "Lwllh" showed {6-Spades}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a set of threes.

The river was a {9-Diamonds} and no help for "Lwllh" as "dragon9437" scooped the massive pot to re-take the chip lead.

Cooler Alert! Chen Doubles "Bees44" Set-Over-Set

Level 15 : 1,250/2,500, 300 ante

"Bees44" opened fo 5,000 from the hijack. Fei "Shanghaichen" Chen three-bet to 17,000 from the button. "Bees44" four-bet to 54,000 and Chen called.

The {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop immediately generated action with "Bees44" opening for 36,000. Chen raised to 199,000 and "Bees44" called off for 136,857.

Just before the end of Level 15, "Bees44" started the action with a raise from on the button to 6,250. Fei "Shanghaichen" Chen made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Chen checked. "Bees44" bet 5,586 and Chen made the smooth call.

The turn was {4-Diamonds} and Chen checked. "Bees44" led with 16,396 and Chen check-raised to 75,910. "Bees44" immediately went over the top to put Chen's last 154,600 at risk and got the call.
