Zhao Leads Into the Lead

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

Francisco Benitez opened to 4,000 and Wei Zhao called in the cutoff. "Pen15" then three-bet to 22,000 and Benitez folded. Zhao ripped it in for 177,150 and "Pen15" called for fewer than that.

"Pen15": {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Wei Zhao: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for Zhao to turn a set of tens.

Shortly after, the next shorter stack was at risk in Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian and this time Zhao held an even better pockert pair.

Mark "Chasseneige" Demirjian: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Wei Zhao: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

There was no help on the {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Clubs} board and Demirjian departed as well.
