Ilan Busts Okamura

Level 29 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Motoyoshi "falcon8808" Okamura has been one of the most active players in the tournament, but he just played his last hand when he couldn't fade a world of outs on the river. Okamura moved all in with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and next to act, Ran "TheCrane" Ilan put him at risk holding {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

The flop of {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} kept the eights in front, but provided plenty of potential backdoor outs for Ilan. He got one of those cards, the {j-Spades}, on the turn to bring straight and more counterfeit outs, but in the end, it was a simple ace that came on the river to give Ilan the knockout.

Siljander Bounces Back with Aces

Level 29 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Not long after taking that hit to his stack, Mathias "Senor Perez" Siljander got it back and them some when he knocked out Dominik "ibrul" Znasik. The two got in a button vs big blind raising war that saw Znasik put over 600,000 in the middle with pocket jacks. However, he was dominated by the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of Siljander.

The aces were never in trouble, as the board came down {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, and Siljander boosted his stack back up over three million.

Swieboda Nears Three Million With Kings

Level 28 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Sergio "TugaStalion" Coutinho moved all in for just two big blinds, and on the button, Bartlomiej "chester20o" Swieboda three bet to isolate. In the big blind, Mathias "Senor Perez" Siljander reraised to 350,000 and change. Swieboda called, and the flop came down {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

Siljander continued for 238,000, Swieboda called, and the turn brought the {j-Clubs}.

This time, Siljander checked, and Swieboda fired 388,000. Siljander gave his hand up, and Swieboda showed a monster hand, {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Coutinho was drawing dead with a pair of sevens, and Swieboda rocketed up the leaderboard with that hand.

Ace-Queen Nets Koistinen a Million Chips

Level 28 : 17,500/35,000, 4,500 ante

Action folded around to the button, David "Mclovin86" Mzareulov, and he moved all in for his final 500,000. Mikael "Basunababy69" Koistinen was in the big blind, and made a big call for nearly 2/3 of his chips.

David "Mclovin86" Mzareulov: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Mikael "Basunababy69" Koistinen: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Both players paired the {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, but the queen kicker would stay in play through the {9-Clubs} turn and {k-Clubs} river.
