Risman Doubles Through Naves

Level 26 : 600,000/1,200,000, 150,000 ante

Blinds: 350,000/700,000

Action folded all the way around to chip leader Tauan Naves in the small blind, and he moved all in. Paul "PaulRisman" Risman called all in from the big blind for his final 17 million with pocket nines, and he was dominating the fives of Naves.

The board came down {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and the nines held to give Risman a big double to start this final table.

Jozonis Gets Lucky to Double

Level 25 : 500,000/1,000,000, 125,000 ante

Tomas "CoronaMyAss" Jozonis shoved his final nine million and change in preflop, and right next to him, Victor Begara moved all in over the top. He would show {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, which was dominating the {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} of Jozonis. The flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds} was safe for Begara, but the {10-Spades} turn was not. Begara wasn't able to catch up on the river, and Jozonis doubled up to over 20 million.

Naves Finishes "Rompo27" Off

Level 24 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

"Rompo27" was able to secure one double up, but their comeback was short lived, as he busted to chip leader Tauan Naves. "Rompo27" held {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}, while Naves had {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and the ace high was all he would need, as the board came down {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

With that pot, Naves has over 70 million in chips. His next closest competitor, fellow Brazilian Eduardo Pires, has less than 50 million.

Risman Spikes River to Double

Level 24 : 400,000/800,000, 100,000 ante

"Rompo27" started the action with a raise to 3.2 million, and Paul "PaulRisman" Risman three bet to 13 million and change, leaving himself a single chip behind. "Rompo27" raised to set Risman all in, and he called it off with {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}. He was flipping against the Ace-King of "Rompo27", who would take a huge lead on the {a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. The turn changed nothing, but the {j-Diamonds} on the river changed everything, sending a huge double over to Risman just short of the final table.
