The 2021 Online World Series of Poker continues today with the first non-rebuy tournament of the series as Event #13: $1,000 NLH Freezeout starts at 3:00 p.m.

The freezeout event features 15-minute blind levels and the $1,000 buy-in gives players 20,000 chips to start. Late registration will be open for the first 3 hours and 55 minutes of play. With this being a freezeout tournament, once a player loses their virtual chips, they won't have the option to re-enter.

Last year's Event #5: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout saw Allen “Acnyc718” Chang navigate his way through a field of 854 runners, earning his first WSOP gold bracelet along with $161,286. The final table included Alex “ShadowFiend1” Condon (6th - $26,124), Andrew “iseefoodtuna” Campbell (4th - $49,570), and runner-up Philip “tomte” Yeh (2nd - $99,709).

This is the 13th of 66 bracelet events being held on WSOP.com (33 events) and GG Poker (holding the remaining 33 events). All events will begin at 3 p.m. PST. Satellites are running on-site for as little as $1.

Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman Looking to Crush Another WSOP Online Bracelet Series

Level 2 : 30/60, 0 ante
Ian Steinman
Ian Steinman

One WSOP Gold Bracelet. Three final tables. Fifteen cashes. That was the body of work of Ian "apokerjoker2" Steinman in last year's WSOP.com Online Bracelet Series, one that would be the envy of nearly everyone who fired in last year's version. Steinman, who already has been seeking action on some bracelet bets for this year's series, will be looking to duplicate his many deep runs and massive success this year.

Steinman's heater began last year with two final tables early in the series, with a fifth-place performance in Event #7: $800 NLH Knockout Deepstack for $24,578, followed by a sixth-place finish two days later in Event #9: $1,000 NLH 6-Max for $30,995. Steinman's bracelet would be earned late in the series, when he took down Event #27: $400 NLH Freezeout for $110,557 after beating Japan's Satoshi Tanaka in heads-up play. Steinman used these performances to take down the $100,000 Leaderboard competition of the WSOP.com portion of the series, which sent an additional $18,000 his way.

Steinman doesn't appear to be resting on his laurels in preparing for a summer of poker, however, already getting in some prep work by winning the Benny Binion Summer Shoot-Out at the South Point Poker Room for $65,000 after a three-way deal. As much as winning his first bracelet meant to Steinman, the quest for another crusher of a summer is on for the hyper-talented Steinman.

Schulman Sets Up Elias for KO

Level 2 : 30/60, 0 ante
Darren Elias
Darren Elias

Nicholas "Cashusklay" Schulman opend under the gun for 160 and two callers before Darren "darrenelias" Elias three-bet to 700 from the cutoff.

Action folded back to Schulman who four-bet to 2,800 and only Elias called to see the {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop appear.

Schulman fired every street starting with 1,505 after the flop, 3,000 after the {q-Spades} turn and all in for 12,625 after the {6-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Elias called every bet, putting his 12,115 stack risk with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} but the rockets were no good as Shulman turned a set of ladies {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} eliminated him from the tournament.
