Biography

Ema Zajmovic is a Bosnia & Herzegovinian poker player best known for being the first woman to win an open World Poker Tour Championship event.

Having finished fifth at the WPT Montreal Main Event in 2016, the following year she made history, winning the WPT Playground Poker Club Main Event for $241,500.

The following year she twice narrowly missed out on adding a second WPT title, finishing second in WPT Montreal for $668,388 and then finishing second in the WPT Amsterdam Main Event for $192,129.
