Nguyen Can't Bluff Shorr

Level 3 : 75/150, 15 ante
Shannon Shorr
Shannon Shorr

Shannon "aulophobia" Shorr opened under the gun for 400, Wendy "NgucMammy" Nguyen called directly to his left and action folded to Christopher "Voccgbcc0235" Carle who three-bet to 1,500 from the small blind.

After Thomas "HavanaClub" Boivin folded his big blind, Shorr clicked call, as did Nguyen, bringing three-way action to the {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Spades} flop.

Carle continued for 2,000 and was called by Shorr before Nguyen raised all in for 11,531.

Carle spent some time in the tank but ultimately mucked his hand while Shorr snap-called and the two hands were revealed.

Shannon "aulophobia" Shorr: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Wendy "NgucMammy" Nguyen: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Nguyen was behind holding an over with one of Shorr's outs but that didn't matter as the case nine {9-Spades} appeared on the turn, securing the pot for Shorr while Nguyen re-entered after the {7-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Madsen Turns Broadway and Eliminates Carle

Level 5 : 125/250, 25 ante
Jeff Madsen
Jeff Madsen

Christopher "Voccgbcc0235" Carle raised to 530 on the button and then called the 1,937 three-bet Jeff "NedrudRelyt" Madsen made from the big blind.

Jeff "NedrudRelyt" Madsen: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Christopher "Voccgbcc0235" Carle: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Carle was ahead after pairing his jack on the flop and the {k-Hearts} turn did improve his hand to two-pair but it also gave Madsen broadway.

Carle needed a king or jack on the river to stay alive but the {a-Hearts} appeared and ended his tournament.

Quad Kings Slay Negreanu's Aces

Level 7 : 200/400, 40 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Justin "Lappypoker" Lapka three-bet to 2,400 from middle position over a raise to 800. Daniel "Dnegs" Negreanu four-bet from the small blind to 5,600. With action back on Lapka he jammed all in and Negreanu snap called.

Negreanu was covered but he had the rockets with the {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and was coolering the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Lapka.

But the flop came with a king as it came the {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The turn completed the king family as the {k-Spades} came off to make quads. the {6-Spades} on the river was meaningless and Negreanu was forced to buy back in.

Thomas Cannuli
Thomas Cannuli

Tony "Panoramic" Dunst raised from middle position and found two callers before Tom ".BEAST." Cannuli three-bet to 4,400 from the big blind.

Tom ".BEAST." Cannuli: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Tony "Panoramic" Dunst: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Dunst was way behind Cannuli's aces and nothing changed after the {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop.

The {q-Spades} turn made things interesting as it gave Dunst a broadway draw but the {2-Spades} river secured the pot for Cannuli and Dunst re-entered the tournament.

David Williams
David Williams

Ryan "BitC0in" Riessopen-jammed for 11,770 from middle position and David "dwpoker" Williams called off his 5,850 stack from the hijack.

Ryan "BitC0in" Riess: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
David "dwpoker" Williams: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Williams was dominated and the {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop was bad for him as it paired Riess.

The {9-Spades} turn was even worse for Williams as it left him drawing dead and the {q-Clubs} river ended his tournament.

Hellmuth was behind holding two overs and nothing changed after the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop appeared.

Israelashvili Rivers Lady Luck

Level 16 : 1,400/2,800, 280 ante
Roland Israelashvili
Roland Israelashvili

Roland "Prngls12" Israelashvili raised to 7,200 from late position and Matthew "booyastink" Wantman three-bet to 18,500 on the button.

After the blinds folded, action was back on Israelashvili who four-bet all in for 121,530 and Wantman called off his 110,072 stack.

Roland "Prngls12" Israelashvili: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Matthew "booyastink" Wantman: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

Israelashvili was way behind but the {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop did pair his queen.

The {k-Spades} turn was another good card for Israelashvili as it gave him the nut flush draw and the river did come black but instead of a spade, it was the {q-Clubs} that secured Israelashvili the massive pot.
