Arani Busts to Jaffe's Aces

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Jonathan Jaffe
Jonathan Jaffe

Jonathan Jaffe held a two-to-one chip lead over [Removed:321] Arani at the start of the hand. After just a couple of preflop raises, the two players got all of the chips in the middle with Arani at risk for 102,000.

[Removed:321] Arani: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Jonathan Jaffe: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} was no help to Arani who was looking to spike one of his two outs. The {a-Hearts} on the turn gave Jaffe a set of aces and Arani was drawing dead to the {7-Hearts} on the river.
