There have been major computer problems across the WSOP live arena today, and that has cause issues with registration and tournament starts. Currently, the start for Event #12 has been pushed back to 4 p.m., contingent on the systems coming back online.

Maher Leads with Zinno, Bronshtein, Greenstein in Contention Along with Others as Day 2 of Event #12: $1,500 Limit Hold'em Begins

Day 2 of Event #12: $1,500 Limit Hold’em begins at 4 p.m. local time with 133 competitors returning to the felt out of a field of 422 entries, to continue to battle it out for the top prize of $124,374.

Returning as the chip leader is Jeremy Maher with 226,000 chips and he is closely trailed by Anthony Zinno with 217,500.

Several bracelet winners remain in contention including John Esposito (187,500), Yuval Bronshtein (145,500), Rep Porter (95,500), Barry Greenstein (86,500), Yuri Dzivielevski (83,500), Joe McKeehen (83,000), and Ronnie Bardah (30,500).

The top 64 finishers will not leave empty-handed, as the minimum payout will be $2,406. However, all eyes will be on the first-place prize of $124,374 and the WSOP bracelet.

The plan today is to play ten levels of 60 minutes each, starting at Level 16 with blinds starting at 2,000/4,000. There will be a 15-minute break every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21, at approximately 10:30 p.m.
