Wasaya Hits the Ace to Double Through Ramos

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Felipe Ramos had re-raised to around 12,000 pre-flop and called when Tony Wasaya moved all in for his last 14,000.

Tony Wasaya: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Felipe Ramos: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Ramos stayed in front when the flop came {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}, but Wasaya spiked the {a-Diamonds} on the turn to take the lead.

The {3-Diamonds} fell on the river, and Wasaya doubled up.

Kornuth Loses With Top Pair

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

A player in middle position raised to 700 pre-flop and received calls from the button, Chance Kornuth in the small blind, and the big blind.

All four players checked the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. When the {8-Hearts} fell on the turn, Kornuth led out for 1,000 and was only called by the original raiser.

The river came the {8-Clubs} and both players checked. Kornuth turned over {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for top pair on the flop, but his opponent had {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Grospellier Lays it Down

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

With around 12,000 in the middle in a multi-way pot and the board reading {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades}, Bertrand Grospellier checked from under-the-gun and the player to his immediate left bet to the tune of 6,000.

Everyone folded around to Grospellier, who also decided to muck his hand.

Douglas Forces a Fold

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Champie Douglas, in the big blind, bet 2,000 on the turn with the board showing {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. His opponent in the hijack then raised to 7,000 and Douglas made the call.

The river came the {3-Hearts}, and Douglas led with a bet of 13,200. His opponent studied the board for a minute, asking to see how much Douglas had behind, before laying his hand down.

Douglas currently sits just above the starting stack.
