Last year in August, two-time WSOP Bracelet Winner & Stud Legend Rod Pardey Sr. passed away at the age of 75. Pardey was considered one of the all-time greats in Seven Card Stud, with a career spanning over five decades.

Pardey notched plenty of World Series of Poker-accolades over the years, with a runner-up finish in the 2015 Super Seniors event as a highlight alongside the Stud bracelets he won in 1991 and 1994. Pardey also final tabled five other Stud events at the WSOP.

A player was all in on sixth street with all the cards revealed and the dealer gave him his last card face down. Elias Hourani was looking to score the knockout.

O'Hara Takes Some From Hourani

On fifth street, Elias Hourani bet and Ian O'Hara called. Hourani fired again on sixth street and O'Hara called again.

On seventh street there was some confusion as the dealer forgot to burn a card before dealing seventh street, so the floor was called over, and the card that was meant to be the burn card was taken back and each player got a new seventh street.

Hourani looked at his cards and checked. O'Hara checked behind.
