Welcome to Day 1 of Event #16: $10,000 Limit Hold'em

The first day of Event #16: $10,000 Limit Hold'em is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m local time.

This is a three-day event. Day 1 will start off with 60,000 in tournament chips and play 10 levels at 60 minutes each with a 15-minute break every 2 levels. There is no dinner break scheduled for Day 1 and late registration ends at the start of Day 2. The blinds will start at 300-500 with limits of 500-1,000.

In 2019 reigning champion Juha Helppi defeated a field of 118 players and won $306,622 and the coveted gold bracelet. A few other notable players who played at this event in 2019 were Eli Elezra, Tong G, Josh Arieh, Dan Shak, and Shaun Deeb.

Like all other $10,000 championship events at the WSOP you can expect to see some of the world's best players battling it out for piles of cash and the coveted gold bracelet.
