Badugi

Hal Rotholz won the first pot of the day on the secondary table and Carlos Rodriguez then raised from the cutoff. Vladimir Peck called in the small blind and Mike Gorodinsky filled up from the big blind. On the first draw, Rodriguez patted while Peck took one card and Gorodinsky took two.

The action checked to Rodriguez, who bet and earned two calls. On the second draw, Rodriguez patted again and his two opponents took one card each. Gorodinsky bet with 5,000 behind and Rodriguez called. Peck raised and Gorodinsky called all-in, while Rodriguez folded.

Peck then patted and Gorodinsky took one card. Gorodinsky was sweating the {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} but was in dire shape as Peck had the {6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} for a Six-Dugi. The final card for Gorodinsky was the {6-Clubs} and that spelled the end for him in 12th place for $8,582.

Trivett Takes Two from Tayi

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

Badugi

Michael Trivett took down consecutive pots off Venkata Tayi, the second of which put Trivett over the 1,000,000-chip mark.

That hand saw Trivett bet after the first two draws, standing pat after the first draw. Tayi took one card on all streets, and both players checked after the third draw.

Trivett showed {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, good enough for the win.

Peck and Benson Tangle Twice

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

On the final draw in a previous hand, Gary Benson patted and Vladimir Peck took one new card. Benson bet and Peck let go.

Soon after, Peck raised from under the gun and Benson defended. The Aussie Hall of Famer took two new cards and Peck took one for Benson to check-call. The same action repeated on the second draw and Benson check-called once more. They took one each on the final draw and checked.

Benson showed a pair of fives and Peck won the pot with {k-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}. "I went from a jack to a queen to a king," Peck mentioned in table chat. Benson then won some chips back when he made a jack against Carlos Rodriguez in the next hand.

Rodriguez Gets Some Back

Level 21 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Prior to the second draw, Aaron Rogers and Carlos Rodriguez checked and Vladimir Peck bet, earning two check-calls. Rogers took two, Rodriguez and Peck one each. "Again?" Peck jokingly asked. They checked and Rogers then patted, his two opponents took one each.

Rogers checked, Rodriguez bet and that forced folds from Peck and Rogers to award the pot to Rodriguez.
