Pots for Eveslage and Benyamine in Razz

Level 23

Razz

David Benyamine: {x-}{x-} / {k-}{a-}{6-}{6-} / {x-}
Chad Eveslage: {x-}{x-} / {8-}{k-}{2-}{j-} / {x-}
Benny Glaser: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{q-}{6-} fold
Philip Sternheimer: {x-}{x-} / {7-}{k-}{j-} fold

After checking four ways on fourth street, David Benyamine bet fifth and Chad Eveslage was the only one to call. They checked sixth again and Benyamine said "smart move to reduce variance" in chat as they also checked seventh. Eveslage rolled over {a-}{5-}{3-} for an eighty-five and that won the pot.

In the next hand, Sternheimer limp-called a completion by Benyamine and folded an {8-}{10-} as up cards. Benyamine returned the favour and revealed {6-}{2-} in the hole and {3-}{5-} as his up cards.

Hellmuth Explodes With an Outburst Against Klein

Level 23

Razz

Phil Hellmuth: {4-}{2-} / {3-}{10-}{3-}{a-} / {k-}
Jesse Klein: {a-}{9-}{7-} / {2-}{k-}{8-}{10-}

Phil Hellmuth limped in and then called when Jesse Klein completed. On fourth, Hellmuth bet and earned a call, Klein then bet fifth and check-called sixth. Klein checked in the dark on seventh street and Hellmuth checked behind to expose a busted wheel draw, ending up with a ten instead. Klein had a ninety-seven and won the pot.

What followed was an explosion of Hellmuth who walked away from the table with plenty of swear words to be heard. Klein could all but smirk when dragging in the bigger pot.

Klein Chips Up

Level 23

Omaha Hi-Lo

Jesse Klein raised under the gun and got the call from Phil Hellmuth on the button and Chad Eveslage in the small blind.

The flop was {j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Eveslage checked and Klein bet the flop. Hellmuth got out of the way and Eveslage made the call.

The turn was {8-Clubs} and Klein bet again. Eveslage made the call and the river was {3-Diamonds}.

Klein bet the river and Eveslage called. Klein showed {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for the flush and Eveslage mucked the losing hand.

Ben Yu
Ben Yu

Omaha Hi-Lo

Chad Eveslage raised under the gun and Jesse Klein came along while Ben Yu called from the button.

The flop was {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Eveslage and Klein checked and Yu shoved his last few chips. Both players made the call and the turn was {7-Diamonds}.

Eveslage checked the turn and Klein bet. Eveslage made the check-call and the river was {10-Diamonds}.

The river was checked and Klein turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} while Eveslage mucked. Yu also tossed his cards and congratulated the table as he made his way out of the tournament.

Yu Gets Scooped By Eveslage

Level 23

Omaha Hi-Lo

On a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, Ben Yu bet out of the small blind and was called by Chad Eveslage in an early position. Yu then also bet the {j-Diamonds} turn and the {q-Hearts} river. Eveslage called both times and Yu rolled over the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} for aces and queens without a low.

Eveslage had that beat with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and left Yu on fumes.

No Value for Hellmuth

Level 23

Omaha Hi-Lo

Phil Hellmuth raised and Jesse Klein defended the big blind. On the {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop, Klein check-folded to a bet and Hellmuth sighed out a celebration, flashing the {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{q-}{5-}. "Yay," he said and then collected the pot. It has been a quiet final table for Hellmuth so far, who has maintained his stack for some time.

Glaser and Sternheimer Chop

Level 23

The flop was {10-Hearts}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Glaser led with a bet. Sternheimer made the call to see a turn {9-Diamonds}.

Glaser bet the river and Sternheimer made a quick call. Players turned over their hole cards to reveal a chopped pot and the players took their bets back.

Glaser Cannot Bluff Eveslage

Level 23

Limit Hold'em

Chad Eveslage raised the small blind and Benny Glaser came along in the big blind. On the {8-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, Eveslage opted to check-call and did so again on the {q-Clubs} turn. He then checked the {k-Hearts} river with 440,000 behind and Glaser fired once more. After mulling over his decision for a while, Eveslage called and was good with the {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts} as Glaser had missed a gutshot with {4-Spades}{2-Spades}.
