Vitch Triples up Against Negreanu and Katz

Level 15

Stud Hi-Lo

Chris Vitch: {x-}{x-}/{j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}/{x-}
Daniel Negreanu: {x-}{x-}/{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Spades}{j-Hearts}/{x-}
Cary Katz: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}/{x-}

The action was discovered as Chris Vitch pushed his last few thousand chips across the betting line on sixth street and was all in. Both Katz and Negreanu called the bet.

Katz and Negreanu both checked seventh street. Vitch's two-pair showing was good enough for the scoop and a triple up.

Perry Loses A Bunch to Buckley

Level 15

Seven Card Stud

DJ Buckley: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} / {x-}
Sean Perry: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} / {x-}

After checking fifth street, Sean Perry bet sixth with a pair of fours and was called by DJ Buckley. Perry also bet seventh and Buckley instantly called to get shown the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} by Perry for sixes and fours. He had that beat with the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for the superior aces up and dragged in the pot.

"I have no idea what I was doing in that hand," Perry admitted.

Arieh Still Hanging in There

Level 15

Stud Hi-Lo

Ray Dehkharghani: {x-}{x-} / {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts} fold
Josh Arieh: {x-}{x-} / {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

Josh Arieh bet his pair of sixes on fourth and then also bet fifth, which Ray Dehkharghani called. On Sixth, Arieh hit another six and Dehkharghani opted to get out of the way. Arieh continues to ride with a short stack on the edge of the danger zone.

Shak Eliminated by Johnson

Dan Shak

Razz

Marco Johnson almost mucked his cards but since it was an all-in showdown, the nine-six-four was still showing. His opponent Dan Shak on the other side of the table also had a nine-six but only made a five as the third card to hit the rail soon after returning from the break.

Wong Out Before the Break

Level 14

Only 34 players remain and Jerry Wong is not among them.

In an Omaha Hi-Lo hand he was all-in preflop for just 22,000 and earned three callers. Philip Sternheimer eventually bet the turn and river of a {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} board to isolate, forcing out Roland Israelashvili and Jean Gaspard eventually.

Sternheimer flashed the {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a flush and Wong mucked the {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{5-Spades} to bust right before the remaining 34 players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.
