Martini Splits a Pot with Quads

Level 7

Big O

Players under the gun and in the cutoff limped and a player on the button raised to 1,400. Julien Martini called from the small blind. The under-the-gun player and the cutoff came along.

The flop was {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Martini checked. The player on the button bet 2,500. The under-the-gun and cutoff players folded and Martini called.

The turn was {10-Hearts} and both players checked. The river was {4-Clubs}.

Martini bet pot on the river for 11,200. The button called and turned over {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}. Martini showed {8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Spades} for quads to take the high while the player on the button took the low pot.
