Today is the first day of Event #23: $1,500 Eight Game Mix 6-Handed. The players will be competing 6-handed in an eight-game mix that includes No-Limit Hold’em, Seven Card Stud, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Razz, Pot-Limit Omaha, Limit Hold’em, Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better, and 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw.

Day one will include fifteen 40-minute levels of play, with a fifteen-minute break every three levels. The game will change every six hands at each table. At the end of the 15 levels of play on day one, the remaining players will bag and tag for the night and return to continue play on Tuesday afternoon.

In 2019, this event attracted 612 players. After all the dust had settled, it was American Rami Boukai that won this event, taking home the coveted WSOP gold bracelet along with the $177,294 first place cash that came along with it! We expect to see a bunch of faces, both new and known, to start the quest towards that WSOP dream!
