Drobes Can't Pull the Trigger on Petrangelo

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised to 25,000 on the button and Scott Drobes defended from the big blind. The flop came {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Spades}, and Drobes check-called a bet of 45,000 from Petrangelo.

The turn brought the {10-Clubs}, and Drobes led out for 100,000 this time. Petrangelo called, and the {q-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Drobes thought for a minute before opting to check, and Petrangelo instantly checked it back.

"Two pair," Drobes announced but Petrangelo waited to see the cards. "I missed everything." Drobes showed the {3-Clubs} but Petrangelo tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} to win the pot.
