Kade Can't Make the Pay Jump

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Vanessa Kade was all in for her last 85,000 chips in the cutoff and Galen Hall called from the big blind.

Vanessa Kade: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Galen Hall: {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} to give Hall two pair and the lead. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river bricked out and Hall held on. Despite stalling for multiple hands, Kade was unable to make the pay jump and the final three tables will now redraw for seats.

Mason Gets a Street of Value

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Craig Mason
Craig Mason

On the {3-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} turn, Craig Mason and Bin Weng both checked to see the {9-Spades} river.

Mason bet 225,000 and after some thought, Weng tossed in a call.

Mason turned over {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} playing the two pair on the board with the ace kicker and Weng mucked.

Howard Folds, Weng Doubles Through Jaffe

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

At one table, a completed board of {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} was spread across the felt with around 300,000 in the middle. Anthony Spinella led out with a bet of 139,000 and Nicholas Howard raised to 380,000. Spinella pushed all in for around 500,000 and Howard quickly folded.

Next door, Jonathan Jaffe raised it up on the button and Bin Weng ripped all in for 1,169,000 in the small blind. Jaffe snap-called and tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} against the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} of Weng.

The flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} gave Jaffe a flush draw to go with his two overcards. However, the {q-Spades} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river bricked out to give Weng a double up.

Jaffe Chips Back Up

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On the {2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop, Jonathan Jaffe bet 60,000, and Rogen Chhabra called.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Jaffe continued for 100,000. Chhabra thought it over before laying it down.

Jaffe flashed {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and Chhabra was relieved he folded.

"How good am I for not trying to steal that pot," said Chhabra.

"The best," quipped Jaffe.

Drobes and Halverson Double Up

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Justin Liberto opened to 60,000 in the cutoff and Scott Drobes shipped all in for 536,000 on the button. Scott Ball asked for a count from the small blind and then re-shoved all in which got Liberto to fold.

Drobes held {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} against the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} of Ball. The board ran out {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Spades} and Drobes held on for a double up.

At the table beside, Mitchell Halverson pushed all in for 290,000 on the button. Rogen Chhabra called from the big blind and had the preflop advantage. Halverson showed {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} against Chhabra's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

The flop fell {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} to give Halverson a pair of kings but Chhabra had one overcard and a straight draw. The {6-Hearts} on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river improved Halverson to a full house in order to double up.
