Lybaert Applying Pressure on the Bubble

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

Bart Lybaert opened under the gun for 10,000 and got shoved on by the small blind for 24,000.

Lybaert called and wasn't thrilled to have to show {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, while his opponent showed {a-Spades}{k-Spades}.

The flop fell perfectly for Lybaert's hand however, as the dealer spread the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

The turn {6-Diamonds} and river {5-Spades} gave his opponent no help, and Lybaert's tablemates playfully ribbed him for his wide early position opening range, which Lybaert happily took in stride as he dragged the pot.
