Ivens Shows Two Pair Against Ramos

Level 17

Seven Card Stud

Todd Ivens: {x-}{x-}/{5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Spades}/{x-}
Felipe Ramos: {x-}{x-}/{j-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}/{x-}

Felipe Ramos bet on fifth street and Todd Ivens raised. Ramos called, then called bets on sixth and seventh streets.

Ivens showed {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{j-Hearts} for two pair, fives and fours, to win the pot and knock Ramos down to about 5,000.

Ramos was all in on the next hand but doubled up through Thomas Hunt with two pair, kings and sevens.

Baker Takes One from Adams

Level 17

Stud

David Baker: {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}/{8-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}/{5-Spades}
Christopher Adams: {x-}{x-}/{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{5-Spades}/{x-}

It was Adams that faced a bet from Baker on sixth street, and he did call.

Seventh street was dealt face down and Baker checked again. A bet was placed out by Adams and Baker called.

"I missed", declared Adams, and Baker tabled his winning one pair, eights, and was awarded the pot.

Livingston Leaves Johnson Steaming

Level 17

Omaha Hi-Lo

Zane Johnson checked dark on the turn with the board showing {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Alex Livingston, sitting to his immediate left, bet. Johnson called, then checked in the dark again on the {j-Clubs} river.

Livingston bet and left Johnson pondering the decision. "How could I not win? These are the best cards I've had against you all day," he said.

Johnson eventually called and showed {a-}{a-}, but Livingston had {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Spades} for the nut flush. Johnson was still lamenting his diminishing chip count several minutes later as Livingston climbed up the leaderboard.

Hastings, Micon Chop Up Ichinose

Level 17

Limit Hold'em

Kosei Ichinose was all in pre-flop with a short-stack and was up against Brian Hastings and Bryan Micon. Ichinose had {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Micon {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, and Hastings {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

The board ran out {7-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. "Oh, wow," said a tablemate as the fourth seven fell on the river to chop the pot between Micon and Hastings with their ace-kicker. Ichinose, meanwhile, made his way to the rail.

Reid Scores One Against Theobald

Level 17

Limit Hold'em

The action was picked up on the turn with a board of {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs}{k-Spades} and Jermaine Reid faced a bet from Robert Theobald. After a brief moment in the tank, Reid called and the two were off to the river.

The dealer dealt the {a-Hearts} and Theobald slowed down and checked, which prompted Reid to fire out a bet. Theobald called and was shown the bad news when Reid tabled {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a rivered broadway straight. Theobald looked stunned in disbelief as he tossed his cards into the muck.
