Before the flop came out Smith announced he checked in the dark and it came {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. His opponent checked behind. The turn was the {4-Spades} and both players checked to see the {5-Hearts} on the river and they both checked for the third time. The early position announced ace-king, and Smith tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} for queens and tens to scoop the pot.

Therme Puts the Pressure on Nearing Bubble

The under-the-gun player raised to 14,000 and Jonathan Therme called in middle position before the action folded around.

On the flop of {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} both players checked to see the {k-Diamonds}. Once Therme's opponent checked he put in a bet of 14,000 and his opponent called.

The river was the {j-Clubs} and Therme's opponent checked once again and he fired out five red chips for a total of 125,000, putting the pressure on his opponent as he only had about 50,000 left. After a long pause he threw his hand into the muck and the chips went to Therme.
