Matthew Itkin Eliminated in 18th Place ($26,728)

Level 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Matthew Itkin
Matthew Itkin

Matthew Itkin was seen getting up from the table but Michael Noori as kind enough to relay what had happened.

Santiago Plante raised to 600,000 and Itkin had three-bet jammed for around 2,000,000 which Plante called.

Matthew Itkin: {a-Spades}{6-Spades}
Santiago Plante: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {j-}{9-}{5-} with two spades for Itkin to pick up the flush draw but the rest of the board was completed with the {8-Diamonds} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river to eliminate Itkin in eighteenth place.

Lee Markholt

Lee Markholt jammed his remaining 1.2 million chips into the middle from the hijack, and Jaesh Balachandran called in the big blind.

Lee Markholt: {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Jaesh Balachandran: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Markholt was behind but he mentioned he had live cards. The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}. The {k-Diamonds} turn took away some of Markholt's outs as he noted, and the {7-Spades} completed the board to eliminate him.

Daniel Fortier: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Dannah Kamp
Dannah Kamp

Dannah Kamp got her remaining 3,675,000 stack into the middle preflop and was at risk against Christopher Andler.

Dannah Kamp: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Christopher Andler: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

Kamp was in a great position and held as the board ran out {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to keep her alive and double her stack.

Matthew Burley Eliminated in 16th Place ($26,728)

Level 32 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Matthew Burley
Matthew Burley

The flop read {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} and Matthew Burley in the early position had the all-in button in front of him already. Jeffrey Vertes in the hijack and Charlie Dawson in the cutoff were still battling for the rest. However, Vertes bet enough for Dawson to fold his {a-Diamonds}{k-} to let them continue the fight.

Matthew Burley: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Jeffrey Vertes: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Burley had flopped top pair but Vertes held the overpair.

The turn was the {6-Spades} to not help Burley and neither did the {6-Hearts} on the river for Burley to bust in sixteenth place.

Leng's Flopped Set Takes Some From Andler

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Christopher Andler raised to 850,000 from early position and Ryan Leng called in middle position, as did Katsushi Yoshida in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Andler bet 1.1 million. Leng called and Yoshida folded.

The {8-Spades} fell on the turn and Andler check-called a 1.3 million bet.

The {7-Spades} completed the board and Andler check-called for 800,000.

Leng showed {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} for a set of sixes and mentioned something about "ace-king with a king of spades", as Andler indeed rolled over {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} which was no good.
