Iduwe Turns Broadway to Eliminate Begni

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

The action folded to Roberto Begni who jammed all in for a little over 1,200,000 on the button. Meyenehi Iduwe called from the small blind to put Begni at risk.

Roberto Begni: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Meyenehi Iduwe: {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} to give Begni top pair but Iduwe flopped a straight draw. The {a-Hearts} on the turn improved Iduwe to a straight and the {2-Spades} on the river was a brick.

Song Eliminates Chen

Level 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

It was Pete Chen that moved all-in preflop for his last 465,000 chips and Daewoong Song made the call. The two were flipping as Chen held {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} versus the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Daewoong.

The flop came {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts} and Daewoong jumped into the lead and did not look back.

The turn {6-Spades} and the river {7-Hearts} changed nothing, and Daewoong's one pair of aces won and he was awarded the pot, which eliminated Chen from the tournament.

With the action on Christopher Ryan, he pushed all in for 835,000 on the button. Adam Cedric called from the small blind and the cards were tabled.

Christopher Ryan: {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Adam Cedric: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The flop fell {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Spades} to give Cedric a set of sevens but Ryan picked up a flush draw. The {8-Diamonds} on the turn also gave Ryan a straight draw but the {3-Clubs} on the river bricked out to send the chips to Cedric.

Koller Flips Well vs Chiu

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ran Koller opened to 325,000 from under the gun and I-Chun Chiu moved all in for around 1,100,000 from the hijack. The action folded back to Koller who instantly flicked in a chip to call.

I-Chun Chiu: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Ran Koller: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Koller managed to hit a pair of kings on the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop to put Chiu in dire straits. The {7-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river changed nothing as Chiu headed for the payout desk.

Steinman Can't Survive

Level 30 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Ian steinman
Ian steinman

Ian Steinman had a little under 2,000,000 chips and shoved all in from under the gun. Jorge Hou called from the button and the blinds folded.

Ian Steinman: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}
Jorge Hou: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} was of no help to Steinman. While the {q-Clubs} on the turn gave Hou a set of queens, Steinman's outs actually increased. Unfortunately for him, the {7-Clubs} on the river could not keep him alive as he exited in 33rd place.
