Oleg Titov Eliminated in 4th Place ($94,028)

Level 40 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Oleg Titov
Oleg Titov

Ran Koller open-shipped all in for 9,600,000 from under the gun and Oleg Titov called from the big blind. Koller showed {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and Titov was behind with {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

The flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades} gave Koller a straight and Titov was drawing to a chop. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn and the {10-Hearts} on the river secured the double up for Koller, leaving Titov with just 600,000 chips.

In the next hand, Ran Ilani raised on the button and went heads-up with Titov. Ilani held {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} against the {q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} of Titov. The board ran out {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} to give Ilani two pair and Titov was eliminated.
