PokerNews' Brad Whitehouse captured a hand on Saturday that might end up being the rarest we'll see all summer at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP). At the very least, the rarest chop pot.

Gus Hansen and Dzmitry Urbanovich battled for a hefty pot on Day 2 in Event #23: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Championship with 35 out of 127 players remaining. The pot ended in a chop, but it left future Poker Hall of Famer Nick Schulman in awe.

"I've never seen that before," Schulman, who has seen nearly everything at the poker table, was overheard saying as he glanced at the tabled cards. "Wow, that's an amazing one."

Have You Ever Seen This in Poker?

Two players hitting a flush in the same hand in stud isn't uncommon. It will likely happen at least a few times during this very bracelet event. But Hansen, who spoke to PokerNews earlier this week, was involved in a hand where a rare flush hit. And, no, it wasn't a straight flush or Royal Flush.

After all seven cards were dealt to both players, Hansen's flush showed 10J9A3. Urbanovich, a Polish poker pro, showed the exact same flush, the only difference being he had clubs instead of hearts. The players chopped the pot.

"I've seen that one time," a player at the table noted.

The $10,000 buy-in tournament will pay the top 20 finishers, with the winner receiving $295,008 at the final table on Sunday. Hansen, at the time of publishing, had an average chip stack with 35 players left. Urbanovich was in a bit better shape. Poker Hall of Famers Daniel Negreanu and Mori Eskandani were among those sitting on big stacks.
