WATCH: Full Seat Redraw Needed in WSOP High Roller After 72 Max Late Register

Mass max late registration in a 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) event on Sunday forced tournament staff to redraw seats for the entire field on Day 2.
Event #26: $25,000 High Roller, not to be confused with the $25,000 High-Roller 6-Max that ended on Saturday, had 300 entries through Day 1. But registration remained open for one full level on the tournament's second session.

Another Rare Happening at the 2025 WSOP
The high roller tournament closed with a record 392 entrants, thanks in part to 40 players getting in the game for the first time or rebuying just before registration closed following Level 9, and 72 total within the first level of the day.
A fresh chip stack of 150,000 was good for just 12.5 big with the Level 10 blinds at 6,000/12,000 (12,000 big blind ante). It isn't uncommon for players to max late register for a WSOP event. But it's rare for so many players to max late register in a high roller, and even rarer for tournament staff to be forced to have the entire field of 158 players — nearly half max late registered — redraw seats one level into Day 2.
Ben Lamb, Stanley Tang, Landon Tice, and Ben Tollerene were among those who entered the tournament just before registration closed. The field quickly dwindled down to under 120 players as many of those who max late registered began shoving to build up stacks.
Some players spent $25,000 for a few minutes of fun. At the time of publishing, Fahredin Mustafov and Alexandre Reard had the biggest stacks. Cherish Andrews, Joe McKeehen, and Alex Foxen were also cruising along with large stacks.
Only 59 of the remaining players will get paid, and the bubble will burst later in the session. The winner, to be crowned on Monday, will take home $1,949,044, and the runner-up will receive $1,299,333.
