TripAdvisor’s Top 10 Things To Do In Las Vegas During The 2025 WSOP
Table Of Contents
The 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) is upon us. It's the most wonderful time of the year—two months of back-to-back-to-back poker tournaments, harvest time for the Las Vegas cash game pros, and all the poker streaming your eyes and an internet connection can take.
However, if you're in Las Vegas for the 2025 WSOP, you may want to (or have to) step away from the tables for a bit. When looking for something in Vegas, it is easy to be blinded by choice. So it is lucky that many a traveler has walked these desert roads before you, and the more helpful of them have left reviews behind them.
Check out the top ten non-poker tours, attractions, day trips, and shows according to the users of TripAdvisor.

1. Fountains at the Bellagio
One of the most iconic images of Vegas is the Bellagio Fountain. 1,214 water nozzles and nearly 5,000 lights set in an eight-and-a-half-acre pond.
At the push of a control-room button, the nozzles and lights perform to music, sending jets of water up to 460 feet in the air in a choreographed show that has appeared in more movies and holiday snaps than can be easily counted.
Best of all? The show is entirely free and runs several times per day, weather permitting. Monday to Friday, the fountains burst into life every 30 minutes from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., then every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can watch the fountains every 30 minutes between 12:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., then every 15 minutes from 8:00 p.m. until midnight.
Here's a free PokerNews tip: the fountains are even more spectacular at night!
2. Fremont Street Experience
Another festival of lights and music, the Fremont Street Experience is a five-block pedestrian mall at the western end of Fremont Street. The most recognizable feature of the experience is the 27-meter LED barrel vault, which plays a light show. Several stages host regular free concerts, and designated busking areas ensure new entertainment every few feet throughout the area.
While you're on Fremont Street, why not take the time to visit some of the legendary Las Vegas casinos, including the Golden Nugget, Binion's Gambling Hall, and the Four Queens?
Those not wanting to hail a cab from The Strip to Downtown Las Vegas can hop on the Deuce bus service, which runs around the clock and only costs a $8 for a 24-hour pass.
3. Red Rock Canyon
The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is in Clark County, Nevada, 17 miles west of Las Vegas. This area of outstanding natural beauty is a popular hiking destination and a great place to reconnect with nature after the high-stakes hustle and bustle of the WSOP. Fans of geology and magnificent views can book trips out to the canyon on foot, on bikes, or aboard a chopper.
If you visit this incredible nature reserve, be warned that the car parks fill up quite quickly on weekends and during holidays. Additionally, ensure you take plenty of water with you because you are exposed to the baking Nevada sun, and Las Vegas is always scorching hot when the WSOP is in town.
4. The Strip
The Las Vegas Strip is a four-mile section of Las Vegas Boulevard in the unincorporated town of Paradise, Nevada. This is where you can find some of the most famous casinos in the world: Bellagio, the MGM Grand, New York-New York, The Venetian, Caesars Palace, and the 2025 WSOP's home casinos of the Horseshoe and Paris.
You'll find everything you want on the Las Vegas Strip, from gambling and entertainment, massive shopping malls, and some of the best restaurants the world has to offer.
5. The High Roller Ferris Wheel
Standing 168 meters high, the High Roller is the second biggest Ferris wheel in the world. The wheel, located outside CET's LINQ hotel, takes 1,120 people on a ride, taking thirty minutes to complete. Once you board the pod, you settle in for unrivalled views of the Las Vegas Strip.
Each of the 28 40-person pods on the High Roller weighs more than 22 tons, has 225 square feet of space, and is equipped with eight flat-screen televisions. Not only is the High Roller fun and exciting, it is an engineering marvel.
6. Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden
The Bellagio's second attraction on this list brings nature to you and curates it into a vegetal theme park. Plants imported from all over the world are arranged and planted in cartoon bowers and watched over by enormous plaster swans and peacocks. As the seasons change, so does the display, with the talented designers creating special displays for the Chinese Lunar New Year and Christmas.
7. The Stratosphere Tower
The Strat Hotel, Casino, and Tower, as the Stratosphere is now called, hosts a 350-meter observation deck, the tallest in the United States and the second-tallest observation tower in the Western Hemisphere. An indoor observation deck on the 108th floor and an outside deck on the 109th offer stunning panoramic views of Las vegas, from the famous Strip to the sprawling desert.
The top of the tower has a restaurant known as "Top of the World," which slowly rotates as you wine and dine the night away. You'll also find four thrill rides and a wedding chapel, the latter being perfect if you plan to recreate the Hollywood comedy The Hangover!
8. Mob Museum
Las Vegas' history is intimately tied to that of the mob. Ever since Bugsy Siegel pivoted from bootlegging to gambling after the end of prohibition, the Syndicate, the Mafia, and Murder, Inc. were as much part of the Vegas myth as names like the Pair o'Dice Club and the Flamingo.
At the mob museum, you can discover this history through artifacts like the St. Valentine's Day Massacre Wall and actual tickets from the 1919 World Series. Once you have finished stepping back in time, we suggest heading to the museum's basement, where you will find a fully operational speakeasy known as The Underground. As someone who sampled some of the venue's moonshine and various cocktails, I'd say take it easy in the speakeasy because the drinks are strong!
9. Las Vegas North Premium Outlets
Shop until you drop at the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North in South Grand Central Parkway, north of the Las Vegas Strip. Featuring over 170 retailers from eateries and fast food to high-end retailers including Armani Echange, Dolce & Gabbana, and other stores where you'd need to go deep in the 2025 WSOP Main Event to be able to afford to buy anything!
10. The Neon Museum
Neon signs are synonymous with Las Vegas, but what happens to those signs when the hotel closes or changes its design? They head to the Neon Museum on North Las Vegas Boulevard. The Neon Museum's collection includes more than 200 signs, including the original Golden Nugget sign, a guitar sign from the Hard Rock Cafe, and the Moulin Rouge sign.
The museum also saved the iconic Vegas Vickie sign from demolition; it is now located at Circa Resort & Casino.
