Matusow Scoops A Multi-Way Pot

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Prior to the final draw, Roland Israelashvili in the small blind and Andrew Kelsall in the big blind checked. Mike Matusow bet and Phil Hellmuth called, as did Israelashvili while Kelsall folded. Matusow patted and both his opponents took one.

They checked it down and Matusow rolled over his {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. A slightly disgruntled Hellmuth flashed a {7-}{6-}{5-} and mucked, Israelashvili also mucked as well.

Jake Schwartz: {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}/{8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}/{a-Hearts}

The action was picked up on seventh street with Jake Schwartz having fired out a bet into his two opponents, Chris Vitch and Nacho Barbero. After a few moments, Vitch got out of the way and Barbero called only to be shown bad news with a wheel when Schwartz tabled his hand and was pushed the pot.

Negreanu Further Boosts the Stack

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Big O Hi-Lo

Daniel Negreanu and Chip Jett limped in the hijack and cutoff for Benny Glaser to raise to 15,000, picking up two calls. They checked the {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and Negreanu bet the {10-Clubs} turn for 45,000, which forced a fold from Jett and was called by Glaser.

After the {q-Clubs} river, Negreanu bet 40,000 and Glaser called to get shown the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts} for queens full of kings by Negreanu as the winning hand.

Friedman and Chip Chop It Up

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Badacey

The four tables in play are currently running hands in Badeucey, Badecey, Badugi and Stud Hi-Lo.

In a Badecey hand, Adam Friedman missed a scoop with the {4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}/{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for a three-card Badugi and a sixty-five while Chip Jett had the {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}/{6-Diamonds} for a Seven-Dugi and earned the second half of the pot.

Down to Four Tables

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

With the elimination of Brett Richey, the field was reduced to the final four tables. According to Nathan Gamble and Daniel Negreanu, it happened in a NL 2-7 Triple Draw hand. Negreanu raised to 8,000 and was called by Chip Jett and Benny Glaser. Richey raised to 60,000 with 40,000 behind. Negreanu jammed to force two folds and Richey called all-in. He took one card to expose a {8-}{6-}{4-}{2-} draw while Negreanu had a made nine-eight. Richey bricked and was eliminated.

Christopher Claassen followed when he ended up with a ten in a Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw. Joao Vieira ended up with an eight-seven-five to reduce the field further. There are now 23 players remaining and the top 14 will cash.

Pot Limit Omaha

The action was discovered on a board of {9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and Phil Hellmuth having fired a bet of 47,000 chips into Adam Friedman. This sent Friedman deep into the tank, where he found the fold button, and Hellmuth was awarded the pot.

Gamble Folds After a Long Tank

Level 13 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

With the turn showing {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades} in a three-bet pot, Daniel Negreanu bet 42,000 out of the small blind and was called by Nathan Gamble in the cutoff which led to a pot of around 160,000. Negreanu then jammed the {9-Clubs} turn for approximately 180,000 while Gamble was slightly covered with exactly 170,000 behind.

"Are you trying to Addamo me? I think I have to," Gamble said and sunk back into his seat. He went into a tank of six minutes before the clock was called on him. Thirty seconds ran down to zero and Gamble's cards were dead as the pot was shipped to Negreanu.

In the meanwhile, short stack Felipe Ramos was eliminated to reduce the field to the last 25 contenders.
