Day 1A of Event #4: $500 The Reunion No-Limit Hold'em has come to an end. The first flight drew a field of 2,649 entries, for a Day 1A prize pool of $1,112,580 in this $5,000,000 guarantee tournament. The survivors of this flight will be returning for Day 2 on Monday, October 4th at 10 a.m. local time where they will mix with the surviving players of Day 1B and Day 1C.

Dave Alfa bagged the top stack of 3,070,000 chips and some of the other notable stacks heading into Day 2 include Konstantinos Gennaios (2,650,000), Ryan Leng (2,500,000), Ryan Laplante (2,100,000), and Cate Hall (1,770,000).

Matt Affleck, James Romero, and Amir Lehavot are among the players who cashed but won’t be taking their stack with them to a second day.

Some of the players who finished outside of the money included Vanessa Kade, Qui Nguyen, Kathy Liebert, Adam Hendrix, and Jeremy Wien. However, they will have an opportunity to play in one of the other two starting flights if they choose to, with Day 1B on Saturday and Day 1C on Sunday.
