The board ran out {2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and Nguyen knocked out the talkative Lyons with a pair of fours.

Beaupre Takes Heaps From Laplante in Pot of Over 20 Million

Level 30 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Joakim Beaupre
Joakim Beaupre

Action was picked up on the flop as it read {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Joakim Beaupre put in a bet, which Ryan Laplante raised to 1,800,000. Beaupre three-bet to 4,200,000. As he was pushing the chips forward, Laplante announced a four-bet all in jam, Beaupre snapped it off.

Beaupre tabled the {6-Spades}{5-Spades} for the flopped straight while Laplante had the {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} for a set.

Laplante was looking for the board to pair but it would not do so as the turn was the {j-Spades} and the river came the {q-Spades} to unnecessarily improve Beaupre's hand to a flush.

The floor was called over to administer the large job of counting the piles of chips and the pot of over 20 million as Beaupre's stack was counted out to be 10,515,000, which was carved away from Laplante to create a gigantic shift in chips at the table.

Alfredo Pacheco
Alfredo Pacheco

Vicky Nguyen was all in preflop from the big blind, with her {a-Spades}{9-Spades} showing against the {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} of Alfredo Pacheco.

The board would not help Nguyen as it ran out {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and just like that she was gone as her chips joined the large armory building in front of Pacheco.
