Matusow Eliminated; Headed to Thunderdome

Level 9

Razz

Mike Matusow has been eliminated by Jesse Hampton.

Matusow put the last of his chips in on fourth street, but got an unfavorable runout, as his {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-}{a-} was pipped by Hampton's {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}{a-}.

Matusow quickly left the Amazon Tan section and headed next door to the Thunderdome to watch Phil Hellmuth heads-up versus Adam Friedman in Event #36: $10,000 Dealer's Choice.

Chad Among Recent Eliminations

Level 9

Razz

Norman Chad was just the victim of a horrific runout against Marco Johnson which eliminated him from the tournament.

According to Johnson, the last of Chad's chips went in on fourth street while he held {a-}{3-}{4-}{5-} versus Johnson's {3-}{7-}{8-}{k-}.

Chad then proceeded to draw paint on fifth through seventh streets and Johnson picked up a {10-} and a {9-} to make the best hand and eliminate Chad.

Several other players have been seen leaving the tournament area recently as the bustouts start to accumulate as the night nears it's end.
