Trivett Leaves Friedman Short

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Razz

Perry Friedman is short-stacked following a Razz cooler versus Michael Trivett.

With their boards reading as follows,

Michael Trivett: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{3-}{a-}{9-}/{x-}
Perry Friedman:{x-}{x-}/{5-}{3-}{8-}{9-}/{x-}

Trivett had bet every street against Friedman, who called down, including a snap-call on seventh street.

Trivett unveiled his hole cards and showed {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}{a-} to just beat Friedman's {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}.

Trivett's stack grows to one of the larger ones in the room, while Friedman has work to do to remain in the tournament.

Yuri Dzivielevski

Limit Hold'em

The hand was discovered on a board of {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Christopher Vitch had led out and was raised by Yuri Dzivielevski, and Vitch made the call.

The river was the {7-Hearts} and this time Vitch slowed down and checked. Next, Dzivielevski moved all-in for less than a big bet, and Vitch snap-called and tabled {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for rivered trip sevens, while a shocked Dzivielevski and his pocket {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} were not any good, and he was eliminated from the tournament.

Trivett and Friedman Chop Up Guo

Level 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Michael Trivett: {5-Spades}{7-Spades}/{4-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}/{8-Hearts}
Yuebin Guo: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}/{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}/{7-Diamonds}
Perry Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}/{x-}

The action was picked up on seventh street and Friedman tossed out a bet and was called by Guo. Next, Trivett raised and both Friedman and Guo made the call.

It was the eight-high straight of Trivett's that took down the high and the seven-five low of Friedman's for the low and that chopped this one up as Guo mucked his cards.
