More Chips for Ngo

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

The action started when Arthur Conan opened to 40,000 and was called by Quang Ngo in the cutoff position. The flop {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} was revealed and Conan continued for 35,000. Ngo called.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and this time Conan checked. Ngo sent a bet for 65,000 and Conan tanked for a minute before folding his hand.

Cunniff Takes from Reixach

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 40,000 and Sergi Reixach called in the cutoff. Gerald Cunniff decided to three-bet to 120,000 from the small blind and only Reixach called.

The flop was {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Cunniff continued for 125,000. Reixach considered it for a minute but mucked his cards.

Mikolaitis Makes The Right Call

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Dominykas Mikolaitis opened to 40,000 on the button and was called by Ronal Sullivan in the small blind and Thibault Letort in the big.

All three players checked on the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and {3-Diamonds} turn, but Letort bet 105,000 when checked to on the {2-Diamonds} river.

Mikolaitis called and Letort showed {7-Spades}{4-Spades}. It was no good against the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} of Mikolaitis, who scooped the pot.

Mugar Run Into Jacks

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Carlos Chang opened the action to 50,000 from the button. Peter Mugar moved all-in for 90,000 and the big blind got out of the way. Chang snap-called and they tabled their hands.

Peter Mugar: {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Carlos Chang: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Mugar could not improve and was sent to the payout line.

Bosca Doubles Through Stout

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Vicent Bosca
Vicent Bosca

John Stout raised to 50,000 on the buton and quickly called after Vicent Bosca moved all-in from the small blind for around 440,000 chips.

Vicent Bosca: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}
John Stout: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The flop brought {2-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades} and Bosca was in bad shape for a double up but the {4-Clubs} showed up on the turn to give him a pair of fours. The {3-Spades} river didn't change anything and Bosca won the pot.

Set Sends Sternberg Packing

Level 21 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Heads-up on a {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop, Alan Sternberg had a 50,000 bet in front of him in early position and was facing a raise to 125,000 by Daniel Lazrus in the cutoff.

Sternberg announced he was all in and Lazrus called instantly.

Alan Sternberg: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Daniel Lazrus: {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The {9-Spades} turn left Sternberg drawing dead and an irrelevant {10-Hearts} completed the board — eliminating Sternberg from contention.

Both players checked on the {9-Clubs} turn; however, Ausmus led out for a bit less than 200,000 when the {7-Spades} completed the board and Reixach quickly folded.
