Matusow Over A Million

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mike Matusow has been steadily chipping up since the dinner break and just crossed the one million chip mark in a big hand with John Racener.

On the flop of {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}, Matusow check-called a Racener bet of 45,000 to see a turn of the {3-Clubs}, Again Matusow checked, and this time he faced a bet of 115,000. Matusow cut out the chips and slid them forward.

The river brought the {q-Clubs}, and again Matusow checked. This time Racener checked behind, and Matusow declared "ace-queen", as he showed {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, as his straight draw turned into top two pair and earned him the pot.
