Le Chips Up Further

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

On the river of a board {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}, Tommy Le and James Tian invested another 18,000 chips each. Tian tabled the {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{9-Hearts} but it was no good, as Le had that beat with {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flush.

Le's stack size has increased further as he leaped well above the current average.

Benyamine Scores the Knockout

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David Benyamine had a decision to make after the {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop, but called a bet to see the {9-Diamonds} turn. After his opponent bet again, Benyamine raised enough to put his opponent all in. The call was made, and Benyamine was ahead as he turned over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades} for two pair. The river {3-Diamonds} completed a full house for Benyamine to earn the knockout, and take his stack over the 450,000 mark.

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

George Wolff and his opponent checked a monotone {2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{k-Hearts} flop, then checked through again on the {8-Clubs} turn. On the river {j-Clubs}, business picked up as Wolff bet 40,000 and got check-raised all in for the rest of his 135,000 chip stack. Wolff happily called.

His opponent showed {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{x-} for the second nut flush, while Wolff showed {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} for the nut flush to earn a double up.

Montgomery Over Half a Million

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Daniel Fuhs raised from under the gun and was called by Stephen Chidwick in the cutoff and Kyle Montgomery in the small blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} and Montgomery checked. Fuhs now continued for 12,000 and Chidwick called. Montgomery had other plans in mind and check-raised the pot by piling in a tower of orange T-5,000 chips.

A quick fold by Fuhs followed and Chidwick counted his remaining stack before coming to the same conclusion.
