Ghanem Out Kicked by Wright

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante
Justin Wright
Justin Wright

Justin Wright raised to 1,000 from under the gun and found two callers before Saad Ghanem squeezed for 9,800 from the big blind.

Wright came over the top for a little over a starting stack and got isolation after the other two players folded.

Saad Ghanem: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Justin Wright: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Ghanem had kicker issues and things got worse after the {7-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop paired Wrights king.

The turn came the {q-Clubs}, giving Ghanem a little hope if another lady were to fall on the river but the {3-Hearts} completed the board and ended his tournament.

Full House for Coetzee

Level 4 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action was on the turn with a pot of about 15,000 in the middle and the board reading {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Clare Coetzee bet 11,000 and her opponent called. The river came the {q-Diamonds}. Coetzee moved all in which got a quick fold from her opponent and she took down the nice size pot and slashed the {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs} boat.

Bailey Raises Liu

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

The player under the gun opened for 800 and found four callers which included Alfred Bailey from the button, along with JJ Liu from the small blind.

The {k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop was checked around and the dealer dropped the {8-Clubs} on the turn.

Liu led out for 3,000 and watched most of her opponents fold until Bailey raised to 8,000. Liu spent little time in the tank and folded, giving the pot to Bailey.
