Prefer No-Limit Hold'em? How about Pot-Limit Omaha? Today at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, well entrants have a chance to play both in Event #50: $600 Mixed No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack 8-Handed.

Kicking off at 11 a.m. PT, this hybrid event was first introduced to the World Series of Poker schedule in 2019. Aristeidis Moschonas and his lucky melon came back from having less than one big blind to beat a field of 2,403 players to claim a $194,759 payday as well as his first bracelet.

The final table also included Rainer Kempe and bracelet winner Dan Matsuzuki. Among those who made deep runs were Calvin Anderson and Jake Schwartz.

Due to the smaller buy-in, another huge field is expected for the event and those involved will be trying to replicate Moschonas' performance on Tuesday.

The games will alternate every eight hands and players begin with 30,000 chips. Today's action will last 22 Levels of 30-minute and late registration is open until the end of dinner break, which should come around 6:55 p.m. PT.

This is scheduled as a two-day event, and PokerNews will be there along the way providing all the live updates from the first hand to the last.
