Boucenna Flops a Set, Sends One Home

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a blind versus blind confrontation, Hugo Boucenna's opponent bet 10,000 from the small blind on the turn with the board showing {9-Spades}{q-Spades}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Boucenna then pushed his stack forward, putting his opponent all in.

The small blind thought about the decision for a few minutes. "Alright," he said as he eventually called. Boucenna showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for a set of queens, while the all-in player had {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for a pair of aces and a straight draw.

The river came the {6-Hearts} meaning Boucenna's opponent was sent to the rail on Level 2.

Webb Scoops a Pot Early

Level 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The action was picked up on the flop of {5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} in a three-way pot and it was checked around to Courtney Webb.

Webb bet 3,000 and both players in the pot folded to her.

After making a deep run at another tournament she'll want to replicate her performance in today's action.

She stated how she busted by saying "a player opened with {j-}{10-} off-suit" and she "turned a set" on a board of {q-}{8-}{5-}{9-}. All the chips got into the middle however Webb did not improve and was eliminated.

Lacey Disappointed He Didn't Get It In

Level 3 : 200/300, 300 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Patrick Lacey was in the small blind and raised an opponent's bet from middle position to around 10,000 on a board of {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts}. His opponent called and they saw the {6-Spades} fall on the river.

Lacey checked and his opponent checked behind. Lacey turned over {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set and straight which turned into a full house on the river. His opponent also had {10-}{7-} for the flopped straight and mucked.

"I'm surprised you didn't get it all in," a tablemate said.

"I'm a little disappointed," Lacey said as he dragged in the pot.

The action was picked up when the cutoff raised to 1,100 and only Allen Kessler in the small blind made the call.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Kessler checked. The cutoff continued with a bet of 1,500 and action was on Kessler.

Kessler check-raised to 4,500 and the cutoff quickly mucked his hand. Kessler then scooped in the pot.
