Throndson Survives All-in

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The action was discovered with Larry Throndson having moved all-in on a flop of {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}. His opponent tanked for a few before he opted to call.

The hands were turned face-up and it was the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} held by Throndson that led the {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} held by his opponent.

"Wrong read," muttered his opponent.

The dealer placed the turn card {9-Hearts} and Throndson remained in the lead.

The river card {q-Spades} secured the double-up for Throndson, and he chipped up to 36,000.

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Popular Twitch streamer Deborah "QueenBee902" Vanneste has been managing a moderate stack most of the day, but finally found a decent boost recently.

According to Vanneste, after an opponent open-shoved 30,000 in early position with {k-}{q-}, she called with {a-}{k-} and her dominating hand held up to bump her to a healthy 70 big blinds.

The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing {9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and a player in the pot tanked briefly before he checked.

The pot was already over 30,000 and Scotter Clark well known for putting the truck in the middle when he goes all-in loaded the truck with chips and went all-in.

His opponent went into the tank for a long time before he made the call putting him at risk for his tournament life.

Opponent: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Scotter Clark: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The river ran out the {a-Spades} and the Kings of Clark held up to eliminate an opponent as the dump truck went back to Clark full of Chips.

Tse Makes the Right Call

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The hand was discovered on a board of {10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Michael Tse faced an all-in bet of 10,100 chips from his opponent. After a few moments in the tank, Tse made the call.

The hands were turned face-up and it was the {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for ace-high held by Tse in the lead against the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} for king-high held by his opponent.

The dealer burned and placed the river card {k-Clubs} on the board, and that completed a broadway straight for Tse and eliminated his opponent.
