Tommy Le Eliminated in 9th Place ($97,254)

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Tommy Le
Tommy Le

Ka Kwan Lau raised on the button and Tommy Le defended his big blind to a {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Both players checked to the {6-Hearts} turn, and Le led out with a pot-sized bet of 510,000. Lau then raised enough to put Le all in, and Le went into the tank. After a few minutes of deliberation, Le made the call and was at risk.

Tommy Le: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Ka Kwan Lau: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Lau was ahead with two pair, and Le missed his draws on the {7-Hearts} river to end another deep PLO run in 9th place.

Nathan Zimnik Eliminated in 10th Place ($79,631)

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Nathan Zimnik
Nathan Zimnik

From the cutoff Nathan Zimnik raised, John Beauprez three-bet to the size of the pot from the big blind and Zimnik called.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. Beauprez bet the pot and Zimnik called putting himself all in.

It was another aces vs kings situation as things looked very grim for Zimnik as he was behind holding the {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} while Beauprez had the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} to leave Zimnik drawing dead as the river was a meaningless {q-Diamonds} to bring the field to the final table.

Lamb Doubles Through Lau

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Ben Lamb's early position raise was called by Ka Kwan Lau to the {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop. Lamb continued with a pot-sized bet of 510,000 to see Lau instantly check-raise all-in. Lamb called and the cards were turned up.

Ben Lamb: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Ka Kwan Lau: {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Lamb was behind Lau's two paur and asked the dealer for "high cards", which he got on the {k-Diamonds} turn and {a-Hearts} river. Lamb's straight was good to double up and recover some chips from Lau.

Matthew Wantman Eliminated in 11th Place ($79,631)

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Matthew Wantman
Matthew Wantman

Matthew Wantman raised it up from early position and Tommy Le three-bet from the blinds. Wantman moved in the last of his chips for around 700,000 and Le quickly called.

Matthew Wantman: {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}
Tommy Le: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to give Le trip sixes and a flush draw. The {j-Hearts} on the turn improved Le to a flush but Wantman still had a few outs to a full house. The {7-Clubs} on the river was not enough and Wantman exited in 11th place.

Lau Takes the Chip Lead

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Ka Kwan Lau called Ben Lamb's raise to the {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop, where Lamb continued for 175,000. Lau called to see the {2-Clubs} turn, and check-called again after Lamb bet 375,000. Lamb fired again on the river {4-Clubs} and Lau took his time before making a big call.

Ka Kwan Lau: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Ben Lamb: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Lau completed a flush on the river after holding trip jacks, as Lamb's aces went into the muck. Lau took down the monster pot to move into the chip lead.

Karakitukov and Zimnik Trending in Opposite Directions

Level 24 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 150,000 in the cutoff and Nathan Zimnik called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Zimnik check-called a bet of 150,000 from Karakitukov.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and both players checked to the {9-Clubs} on the river. Zimnik checked again and Karakitukov put together a bet of 420,000. Zimnik mulled it over for a minute but decided to send his cards to the muck.

Farhad Jamasi Eliminated in 12th Place ($66,912)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Farhad Jamasi
Farhad Jamasi

Ka Kwan Lau opened to 135,000 and Farhad Jamasi raised for much of his remaining stack to 455,000. Lau called to see the {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop and snap-called when Jamasi shipped the rest of his stack.

Farhad Jamasi: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Ka Kwan Lau: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

Lau flopped a set of nines to take the lead, and the {3-Diamonds} turn and {q-Clubs} river changed nothing. Lau added to his stack, knocking out Jamasi in 12th place.
