Michael Kamran Eliminated in 13th Place ($66,912)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Michael Kamran
Michael Kamran

From the button Michael Kamran raised the pot, Veselin Karakitukov raised again from the big blind enough to put Kamran all in who called.

Michael Kamran: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Veselin Karakitukov: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}

It was bad news to Kamran as he ran his kings straight into aces. The flop didn't help him as it came {5-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Nor did the {7-Diamonds} turn or the {3-Diamonds} river and Kamran became the next player to hit the dusty trail out of town.

Karakitukov Sets Up Kamran

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Four players went to a flop of {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Michael Kamran led out for 275,000 in the small blind. Veselin Karakitukov raised the pot to 1,425,000 which got a tank-fold from John Beauprez. With the action back on Kamran, he shoved all in and Karakitukov called off his stack of 1,700,000.

Veselin Karakitukov: {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Michael Kamran: {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Karakitukov flopped a set of fives while Kamran was left with a set of fours. The {j-Hearts} on the turn and the {7-Clubs} on the river actually improved Karakitukov to a straight as he doubled up.

Lau Doubles Through Lamb

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ka Kwan Lau
Ka Kwan Lau

Tommy Le bet the flop of {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Clubs} for 175,000 and Ben Lamb raised to 520,000. Ka Kwan Lau then announced "all in" and slid his 1.75 million chips into the middle. Le folded but Lamb called, leaving Lau at risk.

Ka Kwan Lau: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Ben Lamb: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}

Lamb was in front with a flopped full house to Lau's trip eights, and the {9-Spades} turn was no help. The river {k-Hearts} gave Lau a better full house to take the pot and double his stack.

Amir Mirrasouli Eliminated in 15th Place ($57,741); Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 14th Place ($57,754)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus

Moments after the previous elimination, Amir Mirrasouli was also taken out when his short stack finally met its end.

The rapid pace eliminations continued as a couple of hands later, Jeremy Ausmus got all of his chips into the middle on the the turn which read {6-}{k-}{6-}{q-}. Ausmus had the {a-Spades}{a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} but was up against the {q-}{6-}{10-}{8-} monster of David Benyamine.

The river came another {5-} to confirm Ausmus's elimination.

[Removed:321] Arani Eliminated in 16th Place ($57,741)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
[Removed:321] Arani
[Removed:321] Arani

[Removed:321] Arani opened to 175,000 from under the gun and the action folded around to Michael Kamran in the big blind. Kamran re-raised and Arani stuck in the rest of his 105,000 chips.

[Removed:321] Arani: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Michael Kamran: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} put Arani in the lead with two pair. However, the {4-Spades} on the turn made Kamran a straight and the {j-Diamonds} on the river could not improve Arani.

Benyamine Shoves on Turn

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Action was on the flop in a blind on blind battle as David Benyamine check-called a bet of 175,000 from Jeremy Ausmus on a flop of {k-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

The turn came the {9-Spades}. Ausmus bet 200,000 after a check and this time Benyamine shoved all in. Ausmus went into the tank and after several moments of contemplation he gave it up and Benyamine gathered in the nice pot.

Joao Vieira Eliminated in 18th Place ($51,208)

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Joao Vieira
Joao Vieira

The action folded to Shaun Deeb in the small blind who made it 150,000. Joao Vieira called from the big blind, leaving himself with just 85,000. chips. Deeb bet the 85,000 in the dark before the flop of {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} hit the felt and Vieira snap-called.

Joao Vieira: {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Shaun Deeb: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Vieira flopped a small wrap but would need some help after the {k-Hearts} landed on the turn. The {2-Spades} would not provide any help and Vieira was eliminated in 18th place.
