Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante
Robert McLaughlin
Robert McLaughlin

No-Limit Hold'em

With the action folded around to the blinds, Kristan Lord raised to 150,000 chips from the small blind. Next, Robert McLaughlin moved all-in from the big blind and Lord snap-called.

The hands were turned face-up and it was the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} held by Lord that was in the lead against the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} held by McLaughlin.

The dealer spread the flop of {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Lord remained ahead.

The turn card was the {2-Diamonds} and changed nothing.

The river card was the {q-Clubs} and things ended where they began with Lord in the lead, and McLaughlin was eliminated in 5th place and took home $32,808 in cash.

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

In two consecutive hands of limit 2-7 triple draw, Kristan Lord was bested by Nicholas Julia.

On the first hand, after a bet by Julia and a call by Lord, Julia tabled a {10-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{2-} for an ten-eight low and Lord mucked afterward.

The second hand went about the same way with Julia having fired one last bet after the final draw and Lord called. This time Julia tabled a {9-}{8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} for a nine-eight low and once again Lord whirled his cards into the muck.

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Justin Liberto raised to 100,000 in the cutoff and Aditya Prasetyo then three-bet to 350,000 on the button with some 1.25 million behind. Liberto gave it some thought for about a minute and then moved all-in. Prasetyo spent an equally long time before sending his cards into the muck.

Prasetyo Doubles Through Liberto

Limit Hold'em

Justin Liberto raised from under the gun and then called a three-bet by the table short stack Aditya Prasetyo from one seat over. Until the {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} turn the remaining chips of Prasetyo went into the middle and he was looked up by Liberto.

Aditya Prasetyo: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Justin Liberto: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The {8-Diamonds} river was not what Liberto was looking for and Prasetyo doubled for the 485,000 he had behind after all the chips were finally pulled in to be counted.

Lord Pulls Further Ahead

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In the penultimate hand of Pot-Limit Omaha, Justin Liberto won a pot off Nicholas Julia when the latter check-folded the {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} river.

Kristan Lord then raised to 125,000 from under the gun and was called by Aditya Prasetyo in the big blind. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Prasetyo check-folded to a bet worth 250,000.

Limit Hold'em

Justin Liberto raised the button and Lord defended the big blind. On a {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, Lord check-called a bet and the {9-Hearts} turn went check, check. Lord bet the {4-Diamonds} river and Liberto called.

"Trips," Lord announced and tabled the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}, which ended up as the winning hand.
