Tran Makes The Correct Call

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

Theo Tran opened the action from under the gun to raise of 800. He was called by a player in middle position and a player in the hijack but when the action got to the player in the cutoff he raised it up to 2,000. It folded back to Tran and he min-raised four-bet to 4,000. The player in the cutoff called and they went heads-up to the flop.

{6-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} fell on the flop and Tran led with a continuation bet of 2,500. His opponent called.

The turn card was the {7-Clubs}. Tran slowed down and checked to his opponent who quickly bet 6,000. Tran called the bet after some consideration.

The river brought the {3-Hearts}. Tran checked the action again to his opponent who bombed the river with a bet of 11,000. Tran was seemingly confused but threw out calling chips after a few seconds.

His opponent shook his head and tabled his hand.
